Tomorrow

Tomorrow - Sixx:A.M.

As with the previous post, I've heard this song over and over again. This morning I replaced my Seether CD with The Heroin Diaries - Sixx:A.M. At times, I listen to music with half an ear, something in the lyrics catches my attention and I'll start thinking about it. In this song, 2 something's caught my attention. It made me wonder about life in general, where I am going, what I am doing and how am I getting there..

The lines that lyrics that caught my attention are:

"And everything you do, it's coming back for you
You'll never outrun what waits for you
Tomorrow."

and

"Just look at yourself, do you like what you see?
Look at yourself, is this how it should be?"

The first brings back the age old saying "Do unto others as you would like them to do unto you." I firmly believe in Karma, It does come back to you. "What you give, you get," is my fav saying. I believe if you treat people with respect and honesty, you will get all of that back and more. Do not do anything that you would not want done to you. I can't be mean and hateful out of spite, I'm much to afraid of it coming back.

The second set, makes me wonder, am I living my life to my utmost potential, Is this really the way it should be? I know I can do more and better, but how does one start it? I know one small step at a time. One day at a time, but at times, it all gets rather over whelming.

Life is Beautiful

This morning whilst driving to work, I started thinking about life and my purpose on earth etc. I know this is a rather deep subject to think about during a 4 mile trip, but anyway, I was thinking about how I absolutely hated going to work, and I did not want to face the Doctors and I'd rather be any place but here.

I had my favorite CD playing and I back tracked to song no. 3, "Life is beautiful" by SIXX: A.M. I have heard this song over 100 times in the 2 months since I purchased the CD, and only today did the following words really hit home. "Just open your eyes And see that life is beautiful. " I then realised, that it does not matter what life gives us, It is still beautiful. We have so much to live for, If only we open our eyes and really look around us. Its so easy to sit in our doom and gloom and focus on our situation when so many others are so much worse off than ourselves.

We all have dark moments and thoughts. Nobody really knows what is going on in our lives but ourselves. Sometimes all we have to do, is open our eyes and really see life for what it is. At the end of the day,

We do control our destiny. We are in charge of the decisions we make in life and Life is beautiful, so open your eyes and experience it.
